About Us
Our villa, furnished in cosy Scandinavian Hygge style (a home furnishing style from Denmark), offers maximum comfort.
It is located in Vidim, a beautiful small village in the heart of the Kokořínsko Protected Landscape Area with only 132 inhabitants. In the surroundings, there are countless possibilities for (not only) hiking and cycling trips.
Villa Vidim is ideal for families with children or groups of friends.
There is a beautiful children’s playground next to the house. Toys for children are available in the house and in the garden.
Behind the house is a spacious terrace with seating, a Weber gas barbecue grill, a fireplace and a beautiful view of a ravine with rock formations, where our two goats graze. Our guests also appreciate the large, glass-fronted drinks fridge.
For your safety, the parking area and the garden are monitored by a camera system, and the garden is also securely fenced. Cyclists can store their bikes in the lockable garage.
Small pets are welcome in our villa.
A cosy holiday home in a beautiful, quiet area near the town of Mělník.
In the village of Vidim (4 minutes’ walk) you will find a small family pub and shop ‘U Petra’, a charming place where time has stopped.
Also worth a visit is the local self-service snacks shop ‘U Čerta’ (approx. 70 m from the villa), whose sales rely completely on customers’ honesty.
So, if you are seeking an escape from everyday reality and need peace and privacy a short distance from Prague, choose our holiday home!
